Torn
On August 24, 2015 by Michelle LoveCarly’s first day of 5th grade at a new school because of rezoning. She had a great first day and made a new friend! This should have been BJ’s first day at high school. Instead, he’s still in the hospital where he’s spent most of his summer. I am at both ends of the emotional Read More

Bone Marrow Aspiration
On July 20, 2015 by Michelle LoveBJ is in the recovery room after having a bone marrow aspiration just a while ago. We are praying for the results of this biopsy to show that the presence of leukemia cells has decreased much lower than the 11% that were there last time. More prayers are so much appreciated…. #CureForBJRound2 #keeppounding #giveblood #BeTheMatch #NEGU#IamLCH #childhoodleukemia #childhoodcancer #morethan4 #mollyskids#BJStrong Read More
Methotrexate Toxicity
On July 9, 2015 by Michelle LoveAfter being admitted yesterday, BJ had an EEG showing no seizure activity. They came and got us at 2am this morning for his MRI, which showed the methotrexate toxicity that they had expected. By this morning, he woke up feeling much better than yesterday, and the weakness had resolved. His headache is gone, and I think Read More

11% is too much
On July 2, 2015 by Michelle LoveOn June 22, BJ had a bone marrow biopsy. It marked one month from his relapse diagnosis. We have been hoping that the past month of induction cycle chemo had wiped out most (preferably all) of the blast cells in his marrow. At his relapse, 70% of his marrow were blast cells, and after a Read More
