Happy 15th Birthday Carly!
On November 19, 2019 by Michelle LoveToday, 15 years ago, I received the 2nd greatest blessing of my life…my beautiful baby girl, full of spunk and sweetness, with the ability to bring joy to anyone who saw her smile. She came into this world with the fiercest protective big brother any girl could have had, and I knew for that reason alone, she would always be safe. She is an old soul and comes at any problem with the most unique perspective. She’s tougher than tough and isn’t keen on letting anyone see her cry. I hope at some point she will realize that it’s ok, even more than ok, to cry. She’s been through so much (more than people realize) in her life, and yet she is the kindest and most generous person I know. One of her best qualities is her heart. Even with the gigantic hole that was left there when she watched her brother die, she resists letting it make her bitter or mean. She doesn’t gossip. She hates drama. She is kind to everyone—even to the mean kids at school. She has no patience for whiny complaining over petty things. She appreciates the little things in life. She loves animals, all animals. She gives the best hugs. She is the brightest light on the darkest day. She’s incredibly intelligent and fantastically talented and puts her all in everything she does. She’s so much more. She’s Carly.
I love you sweet girl…to the moon and all the stars, to infinity. I love you more.
