Charlie the comforter

Charlie Brown started getting some energy back last night. He ate some chicken with broth and a small jar of baby food too. He even was interested in playing with his favorite squeaky chicken for a little bit. He even has enough energy to jump onto the couch again. He ate more chicken this morning and was back on the couch again. ❤️🐶

Just want to thank everyone who said a prayer for our sweet furry boy. I greatly appreciate your prayers and kind words. Some of you know just part of the reason why Charlie is so special….he was the one we were able to take in to spend the night with BJ at the hospital when he was inpatient for so long. BJ loved both Charlie Brown and Lucy but Charlie was the comforter. Losing Charlie would to me, mean losing another piece of the tangible connection to BJ. …And one that hugs back. Praying for Charlie’s meds to work and that he gets more years to be our comforter before he runs off to play with his favorite blue-eyed boy.
