Baby Will

The story behind this picture….

This adorable baby is the son of one of BJ’s favorite LCH nurses. They came to the game Friday night to see me and it was SO great to see them. I have watched Will grow up through pictures over the past several months, but had not held him yet. His mom was pregnant while we were in the hospital, and she went out on maternity leave just prior to BJ’s discharge home on Hospice. She is also one of the nurses that BJ liked to scare. 😊 One time BJ scared her so good, she warned him that she was going to have that baby right there! I remember that laugh and blue-eyed twinkling grin he had at the success of that prank. My boy LOVED to laugh and play jokes on his nurses, even then.

When I held Will Friday night, I told him that BJ was trying to help him come a little early! He looked me in the eyes and smiled the cutest smile!! In the picture, Will is holding on to my necklace, that holds a pendant of BJ’s thumbprint.❤️ So very precious moment with people I adore.
