November 6, 2015, Day After T-Cell Infusion
On November 7, 2015 by Michelle LoveThe day after cell infusion update… BJ has felt pretty good today. He had a clinic appointment to check labs this afternoon and his hemoglobin and platelet counts were borderline for transfusion so he will have to go back tomorrow to check them again.
He ate well today and even worked on some school work earlier. He’s tired now so he’s just hanging out here at the Ronald McDonald house, getting in a game of Madden.
With any sign of fever or not feeling well, confusion or bad headache, he will be admitted to Duke Medical Center. For now, he remains fever free. We are both hoping that he will develop a fever, because that is a sign that his new T cells are in there kicking leukemia cell butt!
The waiting is really hard…
