Just an update on how BJ has been feeling today…
He ate a small lunch after chemo finished up yesterday then went to bed. He was too nauseated to eat dinner, and didn’t feel like eating breakfast this morning. Around 1600 today, he started feeling hungry, so we went to Chili’s and got a good meal. He’s been battling a headache all day but as usual, doesn’t take any pain meds until it’s too much to stand. He finally took a Tylenol late this afternoon. He’s still feeling very tired but otherwise the nausea is gone. He has an appointment at the clinic (in Charlotte) tomorrow morning to check his blood counts. Dr. Kaplan anticipated that he may need platelets again.
