He doesn’t realize how tough he is
On July 28, 2015 by Michelle LoveBJ had a rough weekend. Every few hours, day and night, he needed eye drops, Zofran or Atarax. He finally felt like eating something Sunday afternoon, but that was curbed by nausea.
This morning, he still felt very weak, and standing for short period of time was exhausting for him. At the clinic today, he received his 109th, 110th, and 111th Erwinia shots. He is such a pillar of strength. After the 3 nurses were finished giving the shots in his legs, one of them looked at him, and noticed that he had not shed one tear. She said that made her want to cry. I agree. He’s such a strong kid, and he doesn’t even realize that it’s a big deal.
Well, my son, not everyone has your strength, not everyone has your resolve and determination. What you endure day to day would make most of us curl up in a ball and drown in our tears.
