6/7/13 update – Blood counts too low

Back at the clinic today. BJ was delayed last week for treatment because his counts were too low. He was due to begin a new phase called Interim Maintenance 2. We’re waiting for his counts to come back this morning to see if he’ll begin the new treatment phase. 

BJ finished school with the Homebound program and caught up with the curriculum that his peers had learned. He ended up with straight A’s, and will be promoted to the 7th grade next year.
